Welcome

The Intimacy of a Home, the Richness of a Museum

Step through the door of this luxurious 19th-century residence and meet Jean and Charles Gaspar, two brothers: one a sculptor, the other a pictorialist photographer and patron of the arts.
Jean’s animal sculptures, full of vitality and realism, reflect the training he received as a pupil of Jef Lambeaux and stand alongside the softer, more timeless photographs of Charles.
Thanks to its exceptionally rich collections, the museum also organises major temporary exhibitions. At the end of the visit, you will discover the remarkable Antwerp altarpiece known as the Fisenne Altarpiece, dating from the early 16th century, displayed alongside other collections of religious art.
